I'm thinking of reviving this blog...

I'm thinking of reviving this blog, mostly as a kind of Project Life On-line deal. Someplace to share photos and stories. Here in Minnesota today, it's in the upper 30's and yesterday's snow is quickly melting. I spent about an hour yesterday, walking around my neighborhood while the snow was still falling. The wind was pretty harsh, blowing snow and ice right into my camera lens and my face. I had mascara all around my eyes by the time I got back home, and snow all over my camera. The battery on my phone was completely dead, and the ones in my camera were low. And my fingers were numb. But I did get a few photos I like.
These are some plant pots on my covered side porch. I really liked the color against the white snow.

I'm sure no one even checks this blog anymore, since it's been years since I've written a new post. Because most of the images were hosted elsewhere (in order to make them larger) and that elsewhere account no longer exists, all the links are broken. I'd like to restore them, but that's a very time consuming endeavor. For now, I'll just add this message in case inactivity results in deletion entirely!

Project 365: Day 365 -- New Year's Eve

We've never been big on celebrating New Year's Eve. All the drunken crazies are out, and it's just safer to stay home. Lots quieter, too.

So today, Kelly finished installing my new TV. He got this great wall bracket that allows us to swivel the TV to you can see it all the way over on the end of the room, which is great since the room is so long and narrow. Love my new TV! Then we had some sushi I picked up from Publix.

Quite a New Year's Eve, eh?

Project 365: Day 363 -- Downtown Nashville

I joined several other local photographers this evening for an outing. We originally planned to photograph an historic cemetery, but it was locked up and we couldn't get in without scaling the walls. Since we decided that was a bad idea, we ended up down at the Bicentennial Mall for a little while before we darn near froze to death in the 19 degree temperatures and even lower wind chill. After that, we went for Italian food.

Project 365: Day 360 -- Contortionist Kitty

I don't know how he sleeps in some of these positions. I found him sleeping on his head today. What a weirdo!
