Our Hydrangea bush has it's first blooms of the season now. They're beautiful. Kelly's been spending a lot of time in the garden since we got back from Ireland. He really likes the longer days so that he can do some yard work after he gets home from the office. But all the grass that was doing so well at first, is now turning brown and patchy. We just cannot grow grass in this yard. Every year, we try something different, and nothing works. By June, most of it is dead. It doesn't seem to matter how much or how little water it gets. It doesn't seem to matter how much or how little sun it gets. Or what variety of grass we plant. It just won't take root like it should. Other plants grow just fine. But not grass. So it looks like we are in for another summer with a bare, brown yard...
