Yeah, so what my diet didn't need. But Kelly was craving pizza, which is really strange, because he doesn't really like pizza. And after several months with no pizza delivery available in our town, a new place opened this week. So we ordered pizza. It was really good! Had the leftovers today for lunch. Not as good as Mellow Mushroom pizza, but definitely doable in Kingston Springs.
While we ate pizza, we watched The Departed. Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin...really and all-star cast. Good movie, if you can get past the proliferation of the f-word and the c-word. Never heard them so many times in 2.5 hours before! Graphic violence, though, so don't watch if you can't handle that sort of thing. Anyway, it was much better than the Johnny Depp movie we tried to watch the night before--From Hell, which was about the Jack the Ripper murders. Never finished it, it was so boring and so gruesome. Now I am waiting from an old Sean Penn flick to arrive from Netflix--At Close Range. It was filmed at my high school the year after I left. Might have to order pizza again when it arrives!
