Project 365: Day 227 -- Colorado, Part III

After lunch, we all gathered our gear, with charged batteries and fresh CF cards, along with clean and re-dressed kiddos and headed into downtown Denver. The target location was the 16th Street Mall. We found parking garage and took the streetcar, not knowing exactly where we wanted to shoot.

Well, we found a fantastic alley in which to shoot. This alley was a photographer's dream. Grungy corrugated metal in one spot, peeling paint on wood in another, brick, blues, oranges, whites, grays, dumpsters, loading docks, staircases, and even a pretty courtyard. It could not have been more perfect, and we only had to move for cars twice!

In the alley, we decided to have a "shootout" between the Nikon girls and the Canon girls. We were pretty evenly divided, with poor Gina being the only odd one out with a Sony.

Beautiful Schylar made a great model for us...
And little Sarah loves being in front of a camera.

Danielle's little boys were with us, and this is Brayden.

Sarah's older brother is a budding photographer himself. And hates to be in front of a camera!
Gina's little Emberly knew how to work the camera...
We took some photos of each other. Beautiful Amanda...
And Heather...
And the real Heather...
Ciara...

Jonathan and Monica...
Eventually we decided it was time to have some dinner and headed over to the Cheesecake Factory. Brenda had called ahead to make sure they could seat all of us.
